The Graco 595 / 695 airless sprayer is the ideal choice for the painting professional who needs the highest possible output from a small, portable unit that provides a smooth and professional finish. Once setup, they're much faster than using a roller or brush, and for new build houses where large areas need painting, these units are the best tool for speed.
There's plenty of brands available like Wagner and Titan, however Graco have built a reputation as providing some of the best quality units and spray machines on the market.
Airless paint spray pump machines are expensive to buy, making rental an attractive option. You can hire a spray paint gun through City Hire's procure team.
You shouldn't need to thin most paints when using a spray machine, however it won't harm the machine if you do. Most sprayers can use latex, water-based paint, acrylic, primers, vinyl, alkyd, lacquer, enamel, high-heat paint, oil-based paint, epoxy, rust-preventive paint, and plastic paint. What's more important is that you strain the paint first to remove any bits, as these will clog the tip.
Ensure that you prime the sprayer with paint before use, and flush it through with water once you're done.
We recommend spraying in strips with a 30-50% overlap
We typically supply the 517 tip and 519 tip. The tips are interchangeable depending on the viscosity of the paint you have.
