Wallpaper Stripper

Wallpaper Strippers are a fast and thorough way to remove wallpaper without damage to plaster, usually used in residential refurbishment projects. Water is heated to steam which penetrates the paper's adhesive very quickly.

To help the steam penetrate the layer of wallpaper, we recommend using a wallpaper perforator to speed up the steam penetration process. This accessory is especially useful when you are removing wallpaper that has been painted. Painted wallpaper can provide tricky to remove, but a perforator will help.

Due to the volume of water in the tank, this machine can take up to 15-20 minutes to begin producing steam. Once steam begins exiting the steam plate, the machine will continue producing steam until the tank is empty.

These machines can get very hot, including the hose, so take precautions to avoid burn injuries. We would also recommend waiting 5 minutes before refilling the tank, as residual pressure in the tank could cause burns when unscrewing the cap.

Features

• Wallpaper steamers feature a large 7.5L boiler tank which heats the water it contains into steam. The steam produced then travels through an outlet hose and exits via the steam plate which is held against the wallpaper.
• The frame of this machine has a safe working load of 125kg, which means you can stand on it to reach high up areas.
