Hire Specialist Committed to Setting Higher Standards puts Customers in Control of their Tool Hire

City Hire, a leading tool hire company to the construction industry has become the first to launch a fully integrated e-Commerce site for its customers to self-manage their tool deliveries and collections on site. Recognizing the tool hire industry lags behind other sectors in the adoption of technology to improve customers’ service experience, City Hire set about developing a solution that allows customers to take control of their tool hire.

The company whose strapline is: ‘leaders in hire standards’, prides itself in listening to its customers and finding ways to create a service others in the sector find hard to match.

“When it comes to tool hire, we know it can be a very frustrating experience. That’s why we have re-written the rules for tool hire and put the customer back in control. We have developed an easy to use online system that is fully integrated to our operations to speed up delivery to site. All stock items are available to order with delivery promised within 4 hours within the M25. Orders can be placed on a desktop, tablet or mobile when it suits the customer, day or night, 24/7.
